Decent price on a M&P Sport. Fine choice for any level.

I asked Santa for the Swampfox 1x25 blade optic. I was looking at the Holosun 515gm but the Swampfox is reportedly fantastic if you have astigmatism. Anybody have any experience with them?

I’m still am learning about the AR-15 and how to choose what part if I decide to build one. Thought this video was informative https://youtu.be/IYKgdg-X10s

There’s a little more to take into consideration than I thought.

So, here's the 2.1lb piece of tungsten I got for my 10mm blowback AR project. I am going to have to use a rifle buffer tube due to added length, but it looks like it is gong to work. Test fire on Sat.

in my AR-9 SBR - I used a 8.5oz tungsten buffer on a LWRC UCIW/Ultra Compact Stock- I have never once had a malfunction suppressed or unsupressed

Sure but it's beating the hell out of your gun unnecessarily. I use a 10.5 oz buffer and tungsten bolt insert for 9mm.

Keeping the bolt closed longer also helps reduce sound when suppressed.

Full power 10mm blowback is just plain dangerous with light buffers. I have the separated case heads to prove it. Bolt force is about 5k psi for 10mm. Not something to sneeze at. Take a look at MechTech, mac10, aero blowback bolts. All of them are 2lb range. Physics.....

No experience but I have also heard good things, prism sights lend themselves to crisp dots even with astigmatism by design.

P.S. don’t forget to use the WLS discount code.

The reticle is also chemically etched which I kinda like in case the battery goes dead and a quick eye focus. IDK what the WLS discout is I just put a link for it on Optics Planet on my Christmas list. Yes, I still make a Christmas list. I do the shopping for what I want and provide links then folks can just pick what they want.

If buying from swamp fox optics use code “WLSISLIFE” to save 21%, swampfox sponsors the “We Like Shooting” podcast and therefore offer a discount to listeners.

    https://welikeshooting.com/sponsors/

I would make Christmas lists also but generally the only people who give me Christmas presents are my sister and parents so I just text them what I want.
