Toyota Landcruiser on Top Gear! The guys had to buy a 4x4 for under $5,000 and take it 1,000 miles through the rainforest. Hammond chose an old Landcruiser :woot:

    I know, not a Tacoma but it's a tank!

The Land Cruiser would have made it through the ditch... The damn Land Rover just got in the way. Too bad they didn't have that old Hilux in there, the one they tried to kill but just refused to die.

Apparently it's the same episode over and over. The one where they are dropped of in Bolivia and have to drive 1000 miles to the Pacific Ocean.

I lost it at that one! I still want to know how they were able to drive properly when hopped up on viagra... Seems like that would be a challenge.

That was one of their best shows.

Richard: [Voiceover] Finally, we were all off the ramp, and as a reward, the producers gave us a box of things to help us survive the perils that lay ahead. Jeremy: [Going through box] ...Some rubber tubing... Durex...
    Richard: Condoms?!
    Jeremy: Vaseline... Tampax... and Viagra.
James: I know we're going to be in the jungle a bit together but that's a bit extreme.
Richard: What kind of party are they planning?!

Episodes like this really make me think Top Gear America doesn't stand a chance... At least not with the original BBC version's fanbase.

Jeremy: James, I don't know about the rear suspension design on the Suzuki.
Richard: The shock absorber is traditionally attached at both ends.
