Does anyone deep fry their turkey anymore? I did for several years, but haven’t done one in probably 5 years or so.

 

Yeah I’m hoping a Monday night won’t be too crazy

 

Yeah, we pulled it out with a few to spare

I've had it but it's not my preference. I rarely deep fry anything so it just feels like a waste of oil and equipment

 

I liked it that way but the cleanup and putting away the equipment was a pain in the ass.

 

Probably won’t be much better really. So many people come in to see the lights and just do stuff.

Ello all. Just had dinner with the fam. Went great and they're doin well. Now back to Netflix and beer

 

First time doing a dry brine and I think I'll always do it this way going forward. The skin was so perfectly crispy!

 

Did you stuff an onion in the blow-hole of that gorgeous turkey?

Lol yeah, stuffed with carrots and onions. Usually go with citrus but I forgot to buy any and just went with what I had on hand.

Only because we weren't at home and I didn't bring my knives.
