What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I went with a JL Audio sub for my RC. It’s the PowerWedge+ 10” self powered model, and I added the optional remote volume control. I could not be happier with the output given the compact size, and the built in amp made installation a breeze. The width of the box fit perfectly between existing threaded holes in the cross cab reinforcement, making it easy to bolt it it right in. I installed the volume control in one of the stock blanks below the HVAC controls, making for easy adjustments.

 

Swapped my ditch light brackets to Caliraised

 

spoiler! they aren't good lights. Some cheap HF ones I got are better. I kept mine just incase I think of something to use them for.

 

Nice! I'm are those Cali Raised lights too, or just the brackets?

Installed a cheapo bike rack. Going camping and I want to take the bike with us. No room anywhere else after all the camping gear and the dogs.

So bout a month or 2 ago I rear-ended some due to deer. Locked up for first deer then a 2nd after we both got on gas & that whe I hit her. But shit happens. My @Mobtown Offroad bumper saved my trucks life. A week or 2 later I was a victim of a hit & run!! Completely bent my tailgate in half. Still drivable atm. So lot of changes coming to the taco starting w/ new level8 mk6's 17x9 -12 offset wrapped in nitto ridge grapplers 285 70 17. Pinch welds done. Need to do CMC still... only rubs slightly in reverse both left & right. New tailgate is being sprayed now....

 

Finally installing BAMF HD hangers and shackles with Deaver U402 stage 2 leaf pack and durobump 4.5 inch bumpstops. It’s seriously no joke getting those rivets out

 

Bought two cans of color match from automotive touch up, on can spit like a mofo... 2k clear to finish

 

ujoint press and a grade 8 bolt makes easy work of it

 

Installed Spiker hood struts. I love them, the hood opens up like a dream. The extra clearance is nice too.

From yesterday but got the engine back in and the passenger side suspension together. Now just need to finish the drivers side, weld the brackets for the reservoirs and then finish putting her back together.

 

Is there a write up on how to install the USB port? Been wanting to do it, but not sure how.
