Smart. Then you'll have plenty of room for the traction boards on the hood.

I finally picked up a trickle charger for the truck since it'll sit for awhile over winter. It's normally $70 but Amazon warehouse had one for $45 with a "small cosmetic imperfection". We'll see how it looks when it shows up.

Which one do you guys like more? I’m leaning towards the first one. Keeps the weight inboard a little more as opposed to the second one. Plus it looks slick.

Good answer. Im toying with the idea of building one for funsies. Won’t weigh much more than the tailgate and with the bobbed bed/it holding it inboard, shouldn’t feel any different as far as weight goes since it’ll be over the axle. Sorta.

I’m going to sell the topper and build a low height bed bar/bed cage thing and get an rtt that’ll be below the roofline.

They’re both made by Wilco and over like $1k each. That’s why I would make my own version.

I have always been a fan of the tailgate holders. Your bed space is already at a premium, no use to handicap yourself more just to move a few pounds inboard.

    Option 1 of course.

Some on here will attempt to release their pent up aggression by fooling you into another swingout. Be careful of anyone attempting to justify their ill intent by citing “bed space”. If they have been here long enough they would realize bed space was willingly chopped off to achieve awesomeness, which comes at a premium.

So option 1 & the lic plate bottom left corner.

Talking about Randalls newly acquired post baby weight is not cool. I know exactly what you meant with “handicap yourself more just to move a few pounds inboard”. It is to be expected for a few extra lbs to be added during the holiday season as well.

Not cool & boarder line banable if you ask me.
