    For anyone that did this on a 6spd (without a short throw) and used the stock automatic FJ transfer case shifter, was there any problems with the shifters hitting each other? Or is it able to be ran without bending/cutting/welding anything?

    shift in between hi and low while stopped and clutch pushed in. Shift between 2wd and 4wd below 40mph or so.

    I have the auto tranny. I tried shifting with my truck in neutral and I got some grinding noises shifting between high and low. Also what exactly is the shift pattern?

    were you at a full stop? Shouldn’t have any grinding in neutral at rest. The shift pattern is the same as the J Shift but split and mirrored at the hook of the J. So drivers side rail will be L-N-H and passenger will be 2WD-4WD as viewed from front to back.

    Related shifting question. I’m having issues getting my tc out of 4hi into 2hi. Shifter moves freely it just won’t engage 2hi. I’ve had to completely stop on flat ground with no load to disengage. Sometimes even backing up a smidge.

    Hi guys

    Now that I have completed the swap I would like to remove the electronic 4WD switch on the dash. I am wondering if I can get a blank plate plate similar to what I assume comes on a 2wd model. Anyone know if that part exist? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving
