In another thread, entitled, "what did you name your truck," I stated that my truck doesn't have a name but it is a he. So, neither he nor I am interested in getting to know each other like that. LOL.

My Tacoma will have to get my drunk first. I saw a post here a few days ago where somebody trained their truck to fetch him a beer.

So I ran to Lowes today for some pine boards for a project. I'm in the market for a new portable/jobsite table saw, so I periodically swing by the tool department. There's a Metabo (Hitachi) with stand that's normally $569 marked down to $299. I check with a clerk and they don't have any in stock and they aren't able to sell floor models unless it's a clearance item. She says "run home and order online". So I run out to my truck and pull up Lowes online and it's showing out of stock online. So I check inventory at other stores within 10 miles....nada. I was probably in my truck for 15 minutes. I go back into the store and the floor model is $%$# GONE! I find the same clerk and asked why. She said the assistant manager allowed someone else to buy the floor model. Let's just say things got heated. I left on my own accord before I did anything I'd regret.
