Took her for a spin out to the walmarts...annnnnnnnd my rear speakers don’t work. Only the front doors work.

wasn’t planning on tackling the audio quite yet, but it may come sooner rather than later.

Lift is done, working with KDSS sucks! It’s like a constant fight :annoyed:

now to get the wheels and tires mounted...hopefully the Prinsu and Baja ditch lights get here in a couple weeks too, then I’ll be basically done for now

    No such thing as “done”.

Slightly more firm than stock, but the big hits (railroad tracks and speed bumps so far) get absorbed soooo much better. I’m on the comfort springs, which ones did you go with?

I ordered from Kyle at Treaty Oak offroad and am going with his suggestions. I wanted a 3" lift in the front with a bumper and winch, raked in the rear.
So he ordered me the C59-352 front springs and 677v rear springs.
With the 677v rear springs, I can add about 200lbs before it starts to sag. So this will work well if I get a rear bumper in the future.

Gotcha, I went through Dobinsons direct and since I don’t plan on adding any significant weight and wanted 2” of lift f/r to keep the rake is why I went comfort (I forget the part #’s). I’m hoping the front settles or I’ll have to adjust the coilovers, it’s sitting at almost 3” right now. Also, I would have been waiting forever for the KDSS specific real coils. They swapped them for non KDSS and threw in a rubber spacer which I didn’t end up using and I don’t have any lean...just an fyi

edit: I need to update that pic above, it’s when I just let the truck down off the jacks. The ass end is lower now

Already have the FN Overlanders and Nitto Terra Grapplers in 285/70R17s. Waiting on the lift in order to fit them.

Which wheel is that? I went with the FN BFD to keep 18” and go with a P metric 275/65r18. I have the countersteer type x on my Tacoma, I love FN’s products but his website tends to be outdated lol

Exactly! I love the TRD Beadlocks but needed a 17" for my 470. The "beadlocks" on the FN aren't removeable so I went with the ones without the "beadlocks". Spec B I think they're called.

    Like these.

Nice! Had I known these existed I would have probably got them for my Tacoma since I wanted 17” lol. Worked out in the end, I love my type x’s
