I added the Toyota LED Bed Lights. 2020+ are prewired for them. Super easy mod if you have 3rd brake/bed light.DSC_0725.jpg

Picked up the 2021 Black DCLB OR today. The dealer finally de-badged it after numerous requests. I started the mods today by spraying on Maguiars Headlight protection. The Weathertech Stone and Bug shield should be here tomorrow. Just 2 of more mods to come...

I also blacked out the chrome emblems with overlays and sanded and painted the plastic chrome center emblem on the stock wheels. I also eliminated all plastic chrome in cab. I hate that shit.DSC_0722.jpg DSC_0723.jpg

You guys are the worst. I have zero use for a set of these, and I still ordered a set.

I can't be trusted with an internet connection and a credit card.

Replaced my spark plugs and it was way easier than expected other than this mishap. The engineers that designed this must have made it as much a b**** as possible cause the drivers side is a real pain to access (though I didn't actually remove anything). I’m an idiot and yanked these 3 wires (passenger side) by accident while changing them. Am I in over my head or you think I can fix this? I am pretty good with electrical but don’t want to mess anything up working around the engine. Also anyone got the correct order of these and can snap a quick pic? :frusty:

edit/ can some one PLEASE take a picture of this connecter (cam shaft connecter on passenger side) to show me what order these 3 wires go in?

And just when I was gathering courage to replace my plugs (never done it on a vehicle before) you have me something new to worry about lol. I hope you get it sorted out quickly.

Haha it happened right as I thought to myself man this is easy I cant believe toyota wants 700 to do this. It actually seems like it will be an easy fix, I’ll report back. I did it all without removing anything so I got everything done in like 30 min, but alas noticed these got yanked. Just clip the plastic tab holding the plugs when you do yours and if somethings resisting don’t hulk pull it out like my dumba** did. Found out it’s the camshaft sensor. Pt #90980-12353 if anyone does this in the future

Just an fyi. If you sound deaden around the speaker as well as inside the plastic door panel you will increase base response considerably.

Last weekend while I was drinking a wobbly pop and admiring my truck (you know you do it), I decided to check if the dealer covered the roof rack holes when they removed the OEM rack.

    Spoiler: they did not.

Put a set screw in each hole, dabbed some silicone in, then covered with flex tape.
    upload_2020-11-27_17-15-26.jpg

Also popped into the dealer to grab some tub-style floormats and a TRD shift knob. Very happy.

Thanks for the info, I will consider that for a future mod. I just felt that if I were to do that I feel obligated to do the entire inside of the truck because that would seem to be the correct way to do it to me. But I wasn't ready to take that step yet. I do have plans to add a 5 channel amp next weekend hopefully, then a subwoofer in the future.
