    Good evening fellas! Damn, there's nothing like moving around and laying on a sheet of cardboard all day on the driveway to make you feel old. 6 hours of it today and thankfully I ran out of day light. When I got up to start cleaning up tools, I could barley walk. Everything was already hurting! This not-so-young anymore BS is for the birds...

    I got the rear leafs switched out, thankfully none of the hardware was badly seized yet. My acetone/ATF rust buster mixture doesn't hurt either. I started on the front end and quickly started scratching my head as to how I was going to wrangle the strut out of there. I finally caved in and watched 1 minute of a YT vid where they dropped the sway bar and separated the UBJ from the knuckle, that's all I needed to see. Once I did that, parts were flying off. Both struts are in and the sway bar is bolted back in. I need to find some end links in the AM. I also need to fix the snapped bolts that hold the tin can brush shield onto the frame. All 4 were frozen.

    I was shocked at how thin all of the metal up front is, including the lower control arm mounts. The ones on my 3rd Gen 4 runner are built better than that, and they're not exactly known for their strength.
