But then again, that was about 12 years ago. Now I'm 29 and own my 2006 Tacoma, 2003 Outlander, 1995 VW Jetta-VR6 and my new but used 2008 Honda CRF250r.:D

POS first cars FTW! It makes you really appreciate going over speed bumps and not hearing every piece of your vehicle rattle apart when you finaly do get a decent one. I remember thinking my '91 sonoma was like a cadillac compared to my bronco lol.

All you have to say is sure and then we can put your car in my glovebox and you can buy me something to eat.

im not really trying to be a dick but thats kind of rediculous how parents hand theyre kids brand new trucks for their first cars.
i think when you pay for it with your own money you treat it and appreciate it alot more.

Damn, I bought an 89 F-150 4x4, i loved that truck and a great car for 16yr old. hard to mess it up.

I will prob give all my kids an old truck. and if I have any girls they will drive and old truck till they gain my trust. sorry in advance to any daughter I have. But, knowing their future grandparents they will prob get some kinda electric car. lol.

Damn, must be nice to have a new car as the first. Although, I think it is better to have a beater with a heater till you learn how to take care of them then get a new one. Makes you appreciate it that much more IMO.

    Nice Truck and Welcome.

Couldn't agree more. That's why I drove a 99 Corolla before the Tacoma and saved up for about half of the money needed for the car and put it down. I contribute with the monthly payments too.
