    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

    Mary started setting up Christmas stuff yesterday. I did the lights on the garage last week, not plugged in yet. Today I'll set up a inflatable nativity set and I'll set up some lights on a spruce tree in the yard. I'd like to have more stuff outside but if we get a snowstorm it just gets buried. Then also is the storage issue.

    Good Morning. Tree goes up today. It is artificial, but a very realistic looking tree so I don’t mind too much. When kids were small we would all go to the mountains and cut one down. I think I enjoyed the experience more than the tree though...have a great day! Stay well... stay safe

    real trees are better but yes, i think its more about the adventure of going out and finding the perfect one to bring home. and the smell. can't beat that fresh tree smell in the house.

    so i have a small container that i keep all of my spare ornament hangers and spare lights bulbs in - prelit tree so if the lights go out i'm screwed. anywho...its usually one of the last things i pack so that it ends up on the top of one of the totes and is easy to grab when i start decorating each year. i've ransacked every tote and box and can't find it. and i have four bulbs that need replacing. its got to be in the house somewhere but i can't even begin to think where. i didn't use the tree last year so that container has had 2 years to get shuffled into some dark corner and be forgotten about. :annoyed:
