Oh there will be some mods all right
I don't think either is worse. I think both parts of secret Santa are equal. Receiving a gift is fantastic but so is giving a gift. Honestly if I knew for sure the person received it it's not the biggest deal in the world if they didn't post up, but I'm always afraid it's possible their gift was stolen.

To my victim- Amazon states that your package will be delivered this week somewhere in the Live Free or Die state. Also I forgot to put a note with my username on the order so you’d know who I was- I’ll give you a few days to figure it out :santa2: I hope you have an awesome holiday season

Some of y'all need to make nice with your victims chatting buddies, get creative, buy your victim something you'd be happy receiving, or put together some random local items/bbq rubs/truck cleaning supplies/etc. You have at least one common interest being part of this forum!

Just because they don't have a wishlist or they chose to be wishy washy and not specifically list out items doesn't mean you need to message TWSS.

Have fun, stalk your victim, and put together a gift!

Don’t be a dick, post your gift(s) promptly. I don’t care if you open the gifts or not, maybe you plan on waiting until Christmas... that’s fine, post a pic of the box or boxes, but block addresses. Just acknowledge that you have received something so your Santa doesn’t message us freaking out. We live in an age of porch pirates so check your mail every day!!!

This always works!!! I’ve even gotten chat buddies who can point towards social media to get ideas too. Hell one year they even helped me get a better photo for the burn.
