Drew up a logo for my dice endeavors; currently working on creating "masters" so I can have my own dice format that stands out. Sales have been going pretty good for just beginning  Taking a break from marketing my art for the next couple of months

Always had a general interest in everything metal, and thanks to Netflix recommending the new season of Forged in Fire to me, decided to do something I’ve wanted to for a long time. Took a blacksmithing class last Wednesday

Wife told me no more hobbies :pout: So I signed up for more classes

The class itself was 2 hours, first hour was practice, they gave you a 2’ (ish) long piece of 1/2” square bar stock, make you pound out a 4 sided point 1-1/2” long, on repeat. I ended on doing 5 points, the last two per the instructor as short as I could make it while still being a point, ended up at 1/2”

The second hour was making the hook. I’d say 10 minutes of instruction or so which left us with 50 minutes to make our hooks. Best guess is it took me 35-40 minutes? I did my twist twice because I didn’t like the initial look of it the first time.
