Good work! I need to do the same thing. Where'd you get the sensor and what was the final cost? Having a hard time throwing a hundred bucks at something so silly, but that's what it's looking like...

    Installed a magnet mount!

All worked out perfect and feels OEM. Because of the angle and location it looks like the phone is just floating there from the driver's perspective. 10/10 would do again.

Autozone had it for $138.00 then auto anything price matched and dropped it to $128.00 so I went for it.
Them I happened to be on Walmart.com and they had it for $125.64
But sometimes you never know if it’s fake or not.
But I was happy with what I paid and what I received
    I have to add
O’reilly’s was charging $180 for the same Denso part

I’ve attempted that job but those nuts were so soft they completely rounded out. I gave up on that job...coincidentally my CEL went away shorty after and never came back.

    I got lucky.
Although I didn’t have an PB Blaster. I ended up spraying WD40 on them a day or two before the job. Lol!
My truck was originally sold new in North Carolina. But has been a CA truck most of it’s life. I’m the 3rd owner and it has 282,000 miles on it now.
When I was taking the nuts off. One came right out. The other one was a little more difficult and I ended up taking the whole stud out. But when putting it back in. The stud threaded in and tightened all the way down

    Nice.

    What were the troubles?

That bad boy allows you to have 2wd low when not plugged in.

I'm about to pick back up on a 4wd conversion I started about 6 months ago and had to pull off of. Basically all that remains to do is connect a relay to control the VSV's.... and figure out what to do with that blue plug. Will everything function properly without this connection?
