    @scocar

    My current car parts stack. No shelf, that’s too stable and safe from tipping for me.

    Had some fun with the label maker today until I ran out of tape for it. One thing I didn’t realize when buying this box is each drawer has a paper insert for this very reason.

    Navy guys are required to shut off the lights and obtain a 3/8" ratchet, 6" extension, 10mm deep well, phillips, scrapper, and right hand glove before egressing the space without the aid of light.....LOL

    The only problem with labels for drawers is that you’ll eventually add to the drawers and then the labels will be inaccurate. Sure, you can re-do the labels but if you use your tool box enough you won’t even even look at the labels since you’ll know where everything is.

    That’s the beauty of the paper slips they’re on. Just pull them out, flip them over and re label. Or print a new label and put it over the old one. Sure I’ll add new tools here and there but probably not enough to where an entire drawer label goes out the window.

    I’m 90% sure my future MIL is getting me a label maker for christmas and I’m so excited to label absolutely everything, including my tool chest drawers.

    I always figured people labeled their tool drawers for the other people standing around in their garage drinking beer while they wrenched. "Hey grab me that 10mm while I'm under here" sort of thing. :notsure:

    Thats the only reason the main toolbox is labeled. The wife asked for it since she got tired of opening every drawer lol. But now she has her own small box with just basic stuff that she much prefers

    Yeah that was part of it, partly I was bored, partly because it just looks nice and organized, partly because it’ll help me learn my own toolbox. It’s not like it cost me anything other than 10 minutes of my time.

    Ordered a set of Tekton screwdrivers to get a set of pocket sized screwdrivers for work bag. Needed a #0 and a 1/8” slotted, was going to order a Snap On set, I had them in the cart and was ordering but shipping was $12.95 for the pair so total was around $40. Found a 6 piece Tekton hard handle set on eBay for $29.99 and free shipping earlier in the evening. I was feeling frugal, so went with the Tekton set.

    I like the feel of Tekton hard handles, so looking forward to getting them in.
