I kill em in 6mo for daily use. I found some that are really comfy though that are cheap.

I got this pair in 2011 from work. But my use is super sporadic, they've been on the railroad, they've been through a tropical storm on a motorcycle, etc.

I'd get them again, although I'd like something resolable. I don't really wear through shoes in a regular pattern.

Lately I've noticed the bottom of my right shoe wears the pattern down way faster than the left. Another thing my truck and I have in common, our alignments are fucked

Maybe some resolable ones would work. The biggest shame for me is when I finally have the uppers are comfy and broken in but the soles are shot, sucks having to start over.

I think my current ones i can resole. Gotta see of the shoe resoler up the street from me can do it. Luckily I have 3 pairs of broken in redwings so I can send one off to get fixed.

Yet to have a pair of Red Wings but hear good things.

I'm always on Salomon's if I'm not out running errands or working.

Salomons are good good for hiking and stuff. Red wings are better for work.

I only buy boots for work that are composite toe, Electrically insulated and water proof.

I'm pretty brand agnostic. sketchers, teva, new balance and Rockport seem to be the most common for me, usually because they fit well.

Need some new hiking boots, the soles dry rotted and split in half :(

That or the converse outlet store and whatever is on their shelf for 19.99

Our boot supplier at work doesnt carry red wings. I got sick of the chinese crap thats 100% company paid for that they bring to us on the trucks as they are completely spent after 6 months and the soles feel like their made out of wood. This year I decided to go to their showroom and see what they had there. Tried on about a dozen pairs before I fell in love with a pair of Keen's. USA made and 4 months in have very little wear. I will spend the extra money on the exact same pair next year.
