    285/75/r16.

If you do I'd suggest getting a winch if you don't already have one, or going with a vehicle more capable then yours that can pull you through some of the more difficult obstacles.

I’m on 295/70/17 and I do have a winch. But definitely would probably go with my buddy that has a Jeep on tons and 42s.

Pulled the bed, took it down to bare metal, and re-painted with steel-it today. Also sprayed my leafs without any prep so we'll see how long that lasts... I've used the product on a few other parts and I've been very happy with the results so I decided to give it a go on my frame. I also cut out my spare tire carrier (welded it in place when I boxed my frame) so I can replace it with an X brace to add some strength. My axle has a bit of surface rust on it so I'll probably do that with steel-it soon as well.

Very nice. I'm looking to use Steel-It on my skids....pretty expensive stuff, any links where to buy it cheaply?

I think I'm going to do my skid plates with this as well. It's tough, looks good, and easy to touch up.

Seems like prices are pretty consistent across the websites I've looked for it on. I ended up just getting a 3 pack of them on Amazon. I believe SDHQ was the seller.

You can use Seymour Stainless as well for less than half the price and just give it 50% more coats and still be ahead cost wise. Don’t get me wrong I like Steel It and I have front and rear bumpers, a custom axle housing, rebuilt shocks, and various other suspension parts done in it, but it scratches way too easily to justify the price and that’s considering I get a discount from a local race team so I’m not paying retail. Cerakote from a powder coater and 2k aerosol industrial coatings are better at being scratch resistant per price from what I’ve seen if you don’t need to potentially weld through the coating.

While I wait around for my supercharger to come back from being rebuilt, I've had some down time on the truck to complete a few projects.

First off was spraying the bed with raptor liner. It took me about 2 days to do the prep work, but spraying the raptor liner was surprisingly easy and I was able to achieve the texture I was going for. Thanks again to @Squeaky Penguin for the pointers!

I also went ahead and did the "Big 3" upgrade with some 2 gauge wire. Just need a little red loom still for the positive to my battery. A high output alternator will be going in soon as well. I decided to pull my dual battery system out due to the constant cracking and re-welding of my core support. Eventually a new system with a battery placed elsewhere will go back in but for now I'm just going to use a single battery. I picked up one of those fancy TRD battery hold downs that are sold by @Coupe on here, but I still need to fabricate a battery spacer so it will work with my Odyssey. I'll probably end up doing something like this (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...1400-battery-tray-winch-control-mount.317309/) so I have a nice spot for a winch controller when I get one.

Built a battery box today. I tossed the factory battery hold down parts when I installed dual batteries, so I no longer had a good way to install one battery. The side of the box will give me a nice spot to mount a winch controller once I get a winch.

Took the truck to FTW Tuning and had it re-tuned after the recent supercharger rebuild. Dyno'd @ 9psi of boost. Finally making the boost #'s I should've been making with the new rotor pack.

New rubber. I wasn't getting along with the KM3's so I switched back to STT's.
