Let's see if this fixes the mysteriously loosening diff bolts.

Hey folks. You are all likely well aware of the front diff drain plug short comings. I've been using Lexus part # 90341-24016 for a couple of years now... it has a 14mm nut in place of the 10mm female hex, all other dimensions and features are the same. Retail is $10ish.

We'll forgive you this time. Next time however, I will demonstrate things I learned at Abu Ghraib.

You get validation from me. I vote #1!

I have one of those sitting in my tool box. I really need to service my front diff. Hex plug has been seized for almost 100k miles....did a partial fluid change about 60k miles ago when I installed the ECGS bushing.

My Amazon warehouse purchase arrived today. Everything was brand new and even still has the little twist ties around the wires. I call that a win because I only paid $45 and full price is $70.

I had a similar experience when I ordered an item used, but in like new condition. The box was smashed, but the item had obviously never even been used.

Even though the truck starts fine, I guess it’s still low, below 25%. Guess I need to do that alternator mod to fully charge this thing.

What alternator mod do you speak of?

Ah, I see. Only something you want to do if you run an AGM battery.

I am a bit leery of my alternator. Watching the voltage on my stereo via the OBDII, I think it is getting tired. It is never running more than 14.0 volts, and is usually reading somewhere between 13.0-13.7 volts while cruising around town, sometime dipping to sub 13V on ocassion.
