Vettel's mailing it in, just like he did in his last year at Red Bull. I honestly don't understand why any team would want him.

Hamilton and Perez put on a master class in how to manage a race car under incredibly changeable circumstances. Well done!

That's why he had a podium finish Sunday, right? He mailed it in?

Ferrari has been screwing him over since that one race where he didn't slow down to let his teammate pass. He called back that if his teammate catches up to him, he would let him pass. Since then they've pulled him in for odd pit stops, had a bunch of "unexplained" faults during his pit stops...heck, several races ago he was asking his team what's the tire/pit strategy for the rest of that race, and they didn't tell him crappola. I see a frustrated driver who's receiving the "cold shoulder" from his team. They've turned their back on him, so he's on his own.

Pretty clear you're either "in" or "out" with Ferrari. If you're in, they will bend over backwards to support you. If you're out, they will do everything possible to NOT assist you during the remainder of your contract. He can't get out of there soon enough.

one batch, two batch.. penny & dime.

Agreed. Saw Vettles best performance on sunday, so I wouldn’t say he’s “mailing it in”

"Pirelli has brought the softer C2, C3 and C4 tyres this weekend. “We decided to move one step softer to give an extra challenge to the teams, considering that we have the same product from last year,
    Mario Isola, Pirelli F1 boss

Teams spend hundreds of millions to compete and have hundreds of millions at stake and a tire supplier, who has a monopoly and gets paid regardless of whatever happens, fucks around trying to make things challenging instead of supplying the very best tire it can for the track and anticipated conditions? They gotta be kidding. Why would the teams or FIA put up with that?

They showed it until right before impact, then stopped.

Same, since we know the outcome, would be interesting. I did note that they showed no replays or site views until they knew he was walking around. Personally, thought that was good.

Agreed, my dad kept asking why they aren’t showing it yet. Gotta wait until we know everybody is good. Good decision on that part

It was shown but they shut it off just before the crash. I have in car replay when the race is over I"ll try to post it if the FIA allows it on the App.
