Put the OEM remote tailgate lock on my SR today. Very easy install, hardest part was squirming around on my back to run the cable along the frame.

Can’t wait to get my aftermarket alarm + fob so I stop having to use the damn key every time. :)

Any idea why the rating has the double asterisks by it? It's not explained.

Above that is shows (shackle not included**). I have a 9,000 pound rated 3/4" 7/8" pin shackle. Have never used it. Figure it is good for a straight pull. Would use my rear recovery for anything on an angle. Bought it for capacity not for show. It is much better than the stock cast iron one that came on my Sport.

You definitely need to adjust your headlights after upgrading. If you weren't also lifted, you could mark the current spot they are at with tape, install bulbs, and raise/lower to the tape line. Since you are lifted, you will need to adjust them at 25ft if you don't want to blind every sedan on a back road.

Plenty of video on YouTube showing how it's done properly.

Oddly enough, back roads are the only place I get flashed. I take small and dark back roads home from work at night. thanks for the info

I didn’t disconnect my battery, I got too excited to put them in that I forgot to, didn’t have any problems though. They do fade off like the oem bulbs. They’re super bright, I’m extremely happy with the upgrade.

Flashed my truck (2020 AT REG STOCK ECU:04B81) to the latest edition of MD 87 M+W 3.1 (via @Mooseditty17) replicated onto the v2.0 file from vFTune by OVTune. Best upgrade to date and should have been done first thing off the dealership! No more bogs, hunting for gears. Throttle is responsive, shifts are smooth and the truck feels light and has a lot of pep in it when wild mode (ECT engaged) kicks in. Definitely a recommended upgrade for those looking to get tuned.

I’ve done the same. My only complaint is that when you hit 55mph, it takes the truck a tad too long to upshift into 6th. Otherwise, I think this is the perfect tune.
