Yeah, I’m just gonna hop up on the coffee table even though this isn’t my house; Luckily my Aunt Gwyn is a huge animal lover and doesn’t care!

This is a toy from when Mandy was still alive that I bought at a grocery store...

It squeaks and actually smelled like bacon! If you really sniff it carefully it still does sorta smell like bacon, but it got left out in the rain so it doesn’t squeak at the moment...

 

Just took a whiff and it smells more like hickory smoked rubber than actual bacon (it did actually convincingly smell like bacon less than two years ago though); However, Porter loves it and it isn’t damaged or falling apart (plus it’s starting to squeak again with use), so in the toy arsenal it stays!

 

Porter has done a number on this one though and we are currently waiting for a replacement to arrive from Chewy...

 

Porter doesn’t seem to care though...

Porter is seen above wearing the harness that his foster family gave to us, the one that he ended up destroying...

I bought the harness that ended up being undersized because it was the only black one of the particular design and style that I wanted; The other ones were all rather girly colors...

After the black one wouldn't fit, I settled for a large dark purple one; I didn't really like the color at first, but it almost immediately grew on me!

 

This is the purple harness that I bought at PetSmart last spring; Whenever the harness comes out, Porter always thinks he’s going for a walk or a ride in the truck (as you see, he’s eagerly staring up at me in the first photo). As such, I was not going to torture him by putting it on for a photo and then taking it off a few minutes later (Will take him out on Sunday and get a dedicated photo of it; Promise)!
