What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Changed plugs and the pcv valve. I’ve had the truck for 2 years now and don’t know when the plugs were changed last. The pcv valve was gummed up looking. Starts a lot easier and runs nice now!

 

Is changing the PCV valve easy? It’s on my list of things to do, just haven’t looked into it yet.

 

Holy smokes man, those things are nice looking.

 

Got the Martin Offroad roof rack installed. Still need to trim up the "weather strips" and get them put back in. An extra pair of hands would have been nice, but two 4 ft pieces of 2x4 and a blanket worked out well enough. Still have a light bar to eventually install on it as well.

 

Got around to trimming my fenders. Was not hopeful at first but it turned out great!

 

Those are amazing! Wouldn't mind having a couple of those.

Super easy! I sprayed some PB Blaster on it and let it sit a little while. It came right out. I don’t know if it was needed, but I was worried that it would be stuck in there and break off when I tried loosening it.

Painted my Grille today with some Raptor Liner tintable (magnetic grey paint match), and rusto black. Turned out pretty well IMO. Recently purchased the truck and happy to not have any more chrome up front

 

Nice.....I just ordered new painted grille today myself. De chroming is always good and welcome.

 

So decided after driving home from work one night to get the LED bulbs for my truck. Found some "Japanese" ones on Amazon for $35. Installed them today and the difference is night and day!

Did replace with Denso Platinums or Iridiums?
And PCV valve OEM?......how much $

 

Haha that would be true if I hadn't worked in a body shop for a few years, I cant stand being blinded by the oncoming traffic. I always adjust mine to where I've never recieved the "HEY ASSHOLE TURN YOUR DAMN HIGH BEAMS OFF!" flash lol.

 

I got the OEM PVC valve (1220431030) for $5 from my dealer.

 

Leds in stocks housings not a good idea.

 

Have the new housings coming in on the 3rd, just got excited for the bulbs and to be able to drive at night without not being able to see haha. I've always heard it was about the high temp but is that to what your referring?
