What size tires are those? Are they the new Goodyear tire?

 

Here is my new 2021 Midnight Black SR5 with black wheels and freshly armor-alled tires. Only has 375 miles at the moment, trying to take trips to get through my break in period asap.

I washed her today. But, immediately after the wash, my neighbor decided to mow and blow his leaves -- leaf dust everywhere! So, I took her for a drive to let the leaf dust settle around my yard before going back home. While I was out, a bird pooped on my door!

It's so hard to keep a shiny black truck clean!

 

Skip the armor all in the future. The stuff bonds to soft plastics and rubbers and then shrinks in UV exposure, resulting in cracked and dry rotted appearance

Interesting. It is Armor All Extreme Tire Shine.

I wiped it off of my rims and any over spray on my fenders.

It's the first time I've used it (first car wash in fact, as the truck is less than 2 weeks old).

Do you recommend anything for the tires? Any conditioners that, even though they may not add shine, might protect my tires?

I live in Indiana, so not a ton of days where we get blasting heat. More mild weather than anything.

Curious if you recommend something else or just leave the tires be with regular hand washing?

They are Goodyear’s alternative the BF Goodrich KO2. It’s too early for me to comment on their off-road chops or even snow/ice capability; I can tell you I did get some very good insight from a close friend of mine who manages a local Discount Tire and he is of the opinion that I will be impressed - and he knows I don’t impress easy.
The tire is one of the only options that are a standard load and is only a weight penalty of 5lbs! There is no difference that can be noticed from the OE specified Goodyear (noise, harshness, or impacts). Unfortunately all other options are a 10-30lb penalty, along with fact that they will have a much larger negative impact on ride harshness.

That’s a long way to say I really am happy with my purchase.

 

I'm no tire expert but a little bit of car soap and a brush usually keeps them pretty clean. Granted I drive mine pretty hard and I'm off road a fair amount so they never really clean lol

 

you on stock suspension? what size of tire do you have on there? ordered same wheels looking for tire advice
