If you create a (free) tekton account and order through their website, shipping is always free and you get 10% back on your order in rewards. I recently discovered that.

Word. The 6 piece set with the tip sizes listed on eBay were no longer available on Tekton’s website. The next closest set was a bigger piece set and was $40.

The best deal is definitely through the Tekton website.

No shame in that. It’s just hard to give away money with the present economy. I’ve found myself doing the same thing.

I started cleaning up my tool box and I discovered I have too many socket sets. I bought one of the Kobalt organizers that holds 80 sockets. Well that just let me know why I have so many sets. I have a couple missing from each set. Now I need another organizer and more sockets. I’ll probably just get the missing ones to fill in the sets. I don’t have Snap-On b/c money and I’m not a mechanic. I like the Tekton version but Lowe’s is just a couple of miles down the road. I did find six 10mm sockets. I knew they were in there hiding.

It’s a work in progress and an effort to keep functional, I have a decided lack of space in my garage with a frame and a couple rear ends laying around (single car garage life).

But it’s pretty functional, I’m happy with it. We went through this before but it’s a 26” monitor on a wall mount for scale.

Once I get time to cut that frame up and install parts, the pile of boxes will be gone from the far right corner, motor will be off stand so the stand will be gone, engine hoist, boxes of parts gone and other stuff that’s just sitting around and taking up space.
