Doesn't even own a Tacoma anymore so just posted to take advantage of TW members. Take your price gouging to the F150 forums!

Maybe you can justify it to make yourself feel better, but it’s still a douche move...

 

While I understand he is trying to sell the console for a similar price as seen on eBay due to the increased demand; as the moderator (@4x4Runner) and other members have mentioned, this is not eBay. This is Tacoma World, a community full of Toyota enthusiasts coming together to help each other out.

If the user wanted to sell the console for that price, that should be done on eBay or Craiglist, sites where things are sold despite who is a member. Here in Tacoma World, this is a site where people provide services, input, discounts, feedback, etc. Tacoma World isn't a site to be selling items like that for that price.

I'm sure many other users have seen people sell stuff on Tacoma World cheaper than they would on Craiglist or Facebook ads because of the very reason that this is a community of enthusiasts whom, like I said, help each other out. The respectful and considerate thing to do, would have been to mark the PS5 price lower than what it typically would go for.

That's my two cents.

 

Oh, I don't know.

According to @ShadyCoh, we don't realize and appreciate just how hard he had to work to get this near-mythical game system. It sounds pretty daunting. 40-50 hours staring at screens, pressing F5 over and over, nervous and sweating and an upset stomach from the stress. He probably has a callous or two. I know I would have. That's even more time than some people work at an actual job!

Can all of you imagine that after all this back breaking soul-destroying work, the intended recipient of this game system isn't getting it? @ShadyCoh went to the ends of the earth in to find his own Cibola. Now, far be it for us to judge or even ask why; the reasons are unimportant. All we know is that @ShadyCoh was left with a dilemma: what to with this PS5. Apparently he couldn't return it, and he doesn't want it, so what to do?

Option #1:
Being a good and decent man, @ShadyCoh wasn't going to allow someone else to endure the same sacrifice and loss experienced that he experienced during his odyssey to obtain this PS5 game system. Being a honorable man, he was going to sell his PS5 at a normal price, at MSRP, so that someone else could forgo horrors suffered and secure a PS5 for themselves or their loved ones.

Option #2
"My finger hurts after jamming F5 over and over. My eyes hurt! Everyone else is doing it! I'm gonna get mine!"
