Yeah they do. Nah, I guess TaleSpin came a little after my cartoon time. What I remember mostly is Johnny Quest.

I watched that too, in reruns on Cartoon Network in the late 90s; I remember a guy named Roger/Race who converted a Lamborghini Countach-like sports car into a "smart car"...

Actually, the "smart car" from Jonny Quest looked more like a Vector W8 (below); Jeremiah Surd stole it, kidnapping Johnny and Roger in the process because they were driving it at the time. Surd was disabled and imprisoned in this weird full-body shell wheelchair thing, and he used this body switcher thing to swap bodies with Roger; Roger ended up in the wheelchair and Surd took his body...

I did some research and found out that what I was watching was The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, which ran from 1996 to 1997; It was enough like the original series that my dad was able to recognize the characters and watched it with me from time to time...

I really got into Cartoon Network in 1998-1999, and by this time "Real Adventures" was off the air and only showing in reruns; I believe I may have seen reruns of the 1980s continuation, The New Adventures of Johnny Quest, but I never saw the original 1960s series.

I actually found screenshots of the supercar from the episode I was talking about (thank you, IMCDB)! What's weird is that Johnny is said to be 14 and Race's daughter Jess is said to be 15, but in this episode Jess has a learner's permit and is taking driving lessons while Jonny seems to have a driver's license (or maybe just a learner's permit as well); Jonny accidentally dented one of the doors in the beginning of the episode, and Race is pissed, but ends up allowing Jonny to drive the car while he rides shotgun. This is where Jeremiah's henchman steal the car with a helicopter and kidnap them in the process...

And Hadji was giving Jess driving lessons in this bizarre minivan/SUV thing in the same episode...

My bad, it was actually a semi truck; It's been over 20 years since I've seen this show!

Back around 1993 or 1994 we had ambient temps around -27 and crazy cold with the wind chill , was never so uncomfortable in my life. Can remember starting my car about 30 minutes before my shift ended so it could warm up but when I drove down the hill the temp gauge needle dropped back down.

I Googled it out of curiosity, it was Jan 19, 1994, the high temperature for the day was -3 and the low was -22 along with the temperature staying below zero for 52 hours.

That’s a lot like a winter day in Fairbanks. It gets colder from time to time temporarily but mostly it just hovers around zero a lot.

In 1994 or 1995, some town in Indiana recorded the lowest temperature EVER in the lower 48 states; I forget the name of the town...

I would guess it was right around the same time in 1994 as that cold spell l experienced in PA.

Weather is a vicious cycle; Anything below 40 degrees leaves us wishing for a heat wave, and anything 90 and above leaves us wishing for snow!

I can deal with high temps much better than cold, but obviously would rather it not be that hot. We had a bad windstorm that knocked the electric out for 8 or 9 days and naturally it was above 100, think we hit 103 or 104 one of those days.
