Need some help people!! My prerunner has a bad positive camber after i installed my new 5100's, i know if I continue to drive it, it will wear the outside bad. I know I need it aligned, and has anybody had this problem? I selected the 2.5" lift on the snapring. Will my local tire shop be able to correct this without a cam kit? And what Does UCA's Mean?

Any time you change the vehicle ride height, the alignment is going to be off. You need to have an alignment done. They should be able to get the camber and toe in spec. The caster may be a little low, which is were the UCAs (upper control arms) come into play to fix the low caster. But they are not required.

Good call. Caster btw has no affect on tire wear, only drivability. So it really isnt a huge issue.

If too low it can be a safety problem at interstate speeds due to vehicle wandering...but as long as the driver's paying attention, you're right, it should be no big deal.

drive it around for a day then get out and look. whenever i jack my truck up and put it back down, the stance always looks a little off at first glance. I think its maybe from your suspension being fully extended when jacked up then not being compressed enough when set down, you know.

someone correct me if im wrong.
