Sorry for the late reply. I ended up giving this fish to our daycare person and their family. She told me they had rockfish and crabcakes and it was amazing.

Wife got me a baitcaster setup for my birthday last week. After a few days of practice and a couple bird's nests I finally got my first EVER fish on a baitcaster. I grew up trolling and using spinning setups, so I never really touched a baitcaster before. Felt awesome and it was the only fish I caught that afternoon.

I off this week. I'm not looking forward to next week. It's hard returning to civilization in Baltimore after being in the mountains.

That sucks about the guts on your property I'd be pissed. I have a fish cleaning station at my house. Same deal...don't mind if you use it, but I better not be able to tell you were there.

Definitely more people than here where I'm at. You've been here to the cabin, cant see any neighbors or even a passing vehicle.

The ideal approach would be to flash your ECU to the latest TSB and THEN apply the appropriate OV Tune to the ECU. That way you should be reporting the latest TSB should the dealership check. I haven't heard of anybody saying their ECU was detected to have been OV Tune'd but that's anectdotal so don't take that to be absolute. I'm sure if a dealership could detect it if they wanted to. It would be a matter of how much effort they would like to put into it. If, however, your ECU gets flashed in the future that would overwrite the OV Tune and you would be back to whatever stock configuration that TSB is set to be. Then you would have to go about getting someone to flash your ECU with the updated OV Tune (assuming that there is an updated OV Tune to apply).

I'm not aware of a TSB being applied as a result of the fuel pump recall either.

I haven't been following the OV Tune community for 2nd gen to be honest. From a cursory look support doesnt appear to be as robust as it is for 3rd gen.

thanks, I was thinking of the 2 separate things, ECU flash and fuel pump but possibly being done at the same time. Really considering getting the tune done lol.
