We ran from one side of the house to the far side. It was barely over $400. TW electrician friend is good to have. We ran the ac at 90 all July because 120 high temps. Our electric bill sky rocketed. Never again will we make that mistake. I think it was $450 that month.

This is what we have for a couple more days.

Pretty much why we got the RPOD. We didn't use the amenities inside much, did all cooking outside. Was great when weather got bad. Perfect for a hot day, and not to heavy. Ours was like 2700 loaded.

Big! Close to 5,000 pounds and swayed a bunch when on the road. It wasn’t fun to pull. Once we got to camp it was very luxurious, three burner stove, oven, microwave, good sized fridge and a Murphy bed. Had a big slide and awning but no outdoor kitchen. I would love something similar without the bathroom and dining area. Part of the camping experience is eating your meals outside around a campfire. Definitely a nice setup though if you really want to go glamping.

Did you run a WD hitch with that camper? I pulled ours with a WD hitch and that made a huge difference. Also I had airbags in the rear which helped a ton.

Friend of mine has one that has the recliners in place of the dinette. It’s a keystone passport 22’ with a single slide out. That’s odd you had a lot of sway with the wide spread axle setup. Did you have the sway control tight enough? My hitch has the sway control built into the hitch head instead of a separate bar for it. I’ve never had any sway on mine with the taco and it’s 4810 dry.

This is the hitch I use. It works really well. I’ve used the chain ones before and imo they suck compared to these. To tools needed to hook it up.

See I’m all about the glamping. We cook our meals outside and eat outside but I want a good bed and a good toilet/shower. :)
