The Prius was in SoCal during a family vacation there in July 2016; Took it from Malibu to Hollywood, and it was almost 100 degrees in the San Fernando Valley but that Prius had powerful ICE COLD A/C!

While visiting family in Monterey, California in October 2017, I took an Uber to the relatives’ house from a bar in Carmel; 2013 Volkswagen Passat with literally just under 200K miles! Owner said the car was solid and had no issues passing smog!

Was listening to Preston and Steve while going to my personal trainer session this morning and found out that Trixie the Whale Shark passed away recently

For those of you who don’t know, Trixie was the first Whale Shark to be kept in captivity in North America, specifically at the Georgia Aquarium. I went to the Georgia Aquarium for the very first time in 2011 during a visit to see my aunt who lives in the Atlanta suburbs, and Trixie was the very first Whale Shark I saw in person; They are truly among the most beautiful creatures on earth!

My specific area never gets tornados, but we do get high winds, which almost always means a power outage!

 

I have so many threads on here that I am just noticing this now; I actually had GTA 5 on the PS3! Then I scored a PS4 for $225 at a Target Cyber Monday sale in November 2016 and got GTA 5 for the PS4 not long after...

Nah, those came with my aftermarket JBL speakers and I have them on the tweeter grilles; I'm talking about the large black square ones that go in the center of the woofers on 2nd Gen Tacos with the factory JBL system...

Would love to give my truck with aftermarket JBL speakers a stock appearance!

I forgot about this thread; About a year and a half or two years ago, I bought a dual-note Hella horn on Amazon ridiculously cheap; LOVE IT!

 

Sometimes when we have a thunderstorm, there’s this bizarre almost pinkish orange hue outside...

 

I just remembered this...

This kid Garrett who lived on our culdesac in the military housing thought I was stupid sometimes; Garrett was a year younger than me, making him 7 years old when this happened...

One time in 1997, Garrett dressed up in different clothes and tried to make me think he was his asshole twin brother (who had never made an appearance until that day ). I had gone home to change or something, and my mom was across the street in another culdesac chatting with a neighbor, so it was just me and my dog Molly (a hyperactive black lab who wouldn't have even been three years old at the time). Garrett came up to our door and knocked, and when I answered, he asked me if I'd seen his nonexistent brother (I forget what made-up name he gave his made-up brother); While I was talking to Garrett, Molly saw her window (or door, in this case) and ran for it. Our house has this fenced-in area in the front with a poured concrete slab (no grass), and the gate was open. Molly was gone in an instant, and all I can remember is just screaming at Garrett for causing my dog to escape because he wanted to continue playing a stupid practical joke that had grown old over an hour ago; I was eight years old and knew a few four-letter words, but I don't think I used any. Garrett sheepishly apologized and kind of slipped away like the annoying punk he was, while I bolted after Molly. Luckily, Molly ended up running across the street into the other culdesac where my mom was chatting with the neighbor, and she ended up catching her...

 

Nobody on the mainland uses the apostrophe, and I'm pretty sure the license plates say "HAWAII"; Is Hawai'i the proper way to spell it?

 

Hawai’i is the proper way yes. It’s actually pronounced HA Vi E.

I've actually heard that pronunciation before...

 

And that is why I don’t cheap out on mods and get it done right
