The NOCO jump batteries are also on sale. I picked up a second one - this time a GB40 for myself and will give the girlfriend the GB20 for her Subaru with a failing battery.

 

I'm trying to decide about which one to buy. I know it will be handy to have given the quantity of shitboxes that roll through my yard but I'm not sure if I should spring for the big ass one rated up to 7.0l diesels

I was rolling with the small GB20 in my 1st gen 3.4L... now that I have the HUGE 4.0L (and the girlfriend apparently kills her subaru battery every other month) I decided it was time to bump up a size.

 

I've had great luck with this one. Charges AGM just fine. And it's on sale.

 

A few 1st gens going over Hancock and Tomichi Pass; gotta love Colorado!

Thanks for posting up your great trail reviews. Wanted to run this trail for a while and the "surprise opening" I couldn't fit it in before it was too late to run.

Yep, CORE even got Williams Pass open as an out and back in that Area to, hoping they tackle the rock slide from Hancock to get to Alpine Tunnel & Railroad preservation & Hancock- Williams loop going. Going to have to look into joining them with all the good work they are doing in that area.

 

Speaking of don't think anyone posted the decision has been made regarding hundreds of miles of 4x4 trails in Pike & San Isabel NF, see decision tab below, I will try and find the CORE video on it.
