Nope, came to work, save my leave for another day. Did kill 3 flat tops sat and sun between my boy and I. Now he found a tick embedded in his back this am. Urgent care after his shift to remove and a round of antibiotics. I wanted him to go now, but he doesn't want to lose his holiday pay.

Big tick, or little one? They should be able to extract it and submit it for testing for Lyme. Good luck.

I’m off until Dec. 14. I have my computer at home and plan to do some things to save a little time, but hunting is the general plan.

Thanks. Minimal concerns with the dog ticks. Hopefully it is all good for him.

    agreed. Especially at 11:30 pm

We had a wife trying to help her husband out. Didnt realize he had a separate metal shop vac for the wood burner. Used a regular shop vac. But. Both incidents were caught just in time to do minimal damage. Could’ve been significantly worse

Good morning PA folks. Lovely weekend, but a rainy Monday :rain:. Glad I don't hunt anymore. I used to take vacation time to go and with the rain it would have been a wasted day. Be safe everyone and stay dry.

We've had a steady day, rain sucks, so we made the best of it and have been pranking our youngest member non-stop.

Scared the shit out of him twice
Lunch time dishes, we got him with the never-ending dishes gig (he washes and hands to go into the dish washer, it gets passed off, re-dirtied and stacked in his rinse pile) Washed the same 6 bowls, 3 times. Then got one of the guys who completely missed it to come in and say the president was harping on us about the water usage, and maybe cut back on washing and rinsing the same dish 3 times.

Solid work for a rainy day (between calls and second)

I have a general question and figured I would start with my PA family.
    Seeking opinions (or facts) :)
What is the purpose of these "anytime and dash cams"? Is this just a cool gadget? Is it to detect madmax-style pursuit/chases, rogue dinosaurs, snipers? Does it record to avoid some sort of litigation? Just wondering since I see a lot of these installs lately.
I get the ones that folks use under the trucks for spotting rocks and stuff when crawling but the ones that face forward, where your eyes might want to be, or the ones that face rearward, I am trying to figure out what problem those solve.
All replies welcome, even the inevitable smart-donkey ones. :)

When I had to Tow a small welder on a narrow trailer with a Stake body truck a switched rear view camera would have been nice to check if it was behaving when unable to see it in the mirrors.

I think Cool gadget plays in although I guess depending where one lives you could a good use.

Dash cams are all about proving the other driver is the idiot in the case of an accident.

UPDATE: These found a new home with @Coop543 .

Just rolled in with the new suspension & tires. The five 265/70 16's are in the back and ready for anyone who wants them. The spare is unused. About 10K on the other four. My trash takes them for free so no big deal if these are landfill-bound. Shoot me a PM. They will have water in them. :)
If there is a PA stuff for free thread somewhere, and I find it, I may toss them up there but I figured this was right the right crew.
