Ok, I think my rifle has a standard flash hider, welded on. How would I put on a muzzle device?

It's just threaded on. If you are having "muzzle flip" with a 5.56 AR you need to work on shooting technique, not bandaid it with some fancy muzzle device. The standard birdcage the Oracle comes with is more than enough.

All good. A 5.56 AR is one of the softest shooting rifles you can find. I'd say get used to it as is and not worry about the extras that aren't needed. I know that's hard for guys like is that take a perfectly good Tacoma and strap a few thousand dollars of extra crap on it that we might not really need.

Geissele makes a braided wire spring/buffer that eliminates the "thwang" sound when firing. It's great!

I have the JP silent capture system. I always thought they were just a gimmick but I bought a lower with one installed already so I figured I'd try it before selling it off. Well I must say it makes recoil way smoother and you don't hear the spring moving around in the buffer tube like you would a standard ar during recoil. They are pricey for what they are but since mine came with the lower I'm keeping it. I see them regularly used for $80 so I may pick up another. For the price of the armapec one it may be a great contender in the market. Let us know how it shoots.

Get a good stance and grip. If the muzzle flip is too much for you you might be too vertical in your stance or even leaning back so the recoil is also pushing your top half back causing the muzzle to rise even more. That's the main thing I see when I see new shooters fire any thing for the first time. Bad stance and recoil sends the top half of their body back while the bottom stays and it sends the muzzle to the sky.

I have one and it served its purpose...Shooting suppressed with the full A2 Style butt stock, the recoil spring would make this really loud "TWANG" noise. It is all but gone with the armaspec. To be honest I can't notice any difference in the recoil than vs standard setup.
From what I researched. the Armaspec is identical to the original JP model at half the price.

I'm running one on a two stamp gun for the same reason. I don't have a whole lot of rounds through it and haven't played with the buffer weights (both uppers I run on it have SLR adjustable gas blocks) but I've been very happy with it.

I'm older than dirt and shake like a dog shittin' peach seeds. ;) My preferred stance is sitting down or using a rest. Mostly sitting in my truck and shooting out the winder. When doing so and I have time to aim carefully my left arm is under my right and holding the steering wheel. Gun is resting on the window with a pad. It's a very solid hold but the gun is not held down sooo.. muzzle rise. I can do this with my Rem 700 .223 HB and watch the bullet impact thru the scope. Can't with the AR. That make any sense?

If a brake will help. and if the birdcage is threaded, I'ma give it a shot.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

You are correct sir. My "New A2" only twangs with the suppressor. (Or is that the only way you notice it?) I have an old colt A2 "sporter" from 1985...no twang.
My SBR with a suppressor & collapsible stock does not twang. I somehow thing it has to do with the A2 stock is hollow and amplifies the twang. I even stuffed the cleaning kit compartment with a sock to try and dampen it.
