I noticed on mine that the taco was sitting a bit lower last time we towed it. Didn’t find out why till I switched it over to the new truck. Seems they didn’t tighten the bolts down to torque spec and the hitch had moved. There’s a thumb wheel that it rests against when set. The thumb wheel was loose and rotating easily. On the new truck it sat a good bit higher so it needed to be changed a good bit. It was actually a lot easier setting it than I got from reading the instructions. Wish I would have done it earlier. Haha

For me the hard part was finding a fit when I got mine. A lot of people don't put the effort in to make sure it's a good fit between vehicle and trailer. Then it's just taking your time and figuring out how it works lol.

Mine was really kinda easy. They had the ones with chains and they had the new style. I knew how the chain one worked. He explained how the new one worked. I decided the new style fit me better plus I liked the fact the bars were on top instead of the bottom and had more ground clearance.

Check out the KZ Sportsmen 260BHSE. We bought ours this Summer and we have been very pleased. You should be able to snag one for close to 17k out the door. We have camped 6 times in it already. Me, my wife, 19 yr old daughter, 18 year old son and 4 dogs and it hasn’t felt too small yet.

Yeah those are better ones IMO. What I was getting at is I used it for my RPOD to control it while longer tows. Didn't need the big boy version, plenty of those. Not many in the mid range though lol.
