I have seen a lot worse boat pull up to restraunts on the river by my house before. Yours atleast looks clean and has a decent motor.

I have a VIP ski boat with a 90hp Chrysler motor and I had it up to 45 mph, which is fast enough for me since I just use it to go fishing in.

I can't afford a boat but my old man bought a 28' Trend command bridge about 6 years ago. Was in pretty rough shape, stringers were rotten so we totally gutted it, put new stringers, new floor, new wiring, all new interior, new paint and fittings, new pretty much everything. Oh yeah, and dumped the lame duck 305 and 350 that was in there for a pair of vortec 350s. The boat looks like this as far as the shape and size but better condition and interior etc are quite different now:

Does about 48mph on the GPS but there's almost 1000rpm left, it's underpropped. It's fun to wakeboard and tube behind, haha.

While it wasn't GPS confirmed, I got my old '02 SeaDoo GTX RFI up to 60 according to the speedo one time at about 7am when the lake was smooth as glass. I thought I was going to die. That's really fast on the water...especially on a PWC. I was tucked down behind the handlebars.
