New at this myself but here is what I gather:

    04B03 is your ECU ID
    Premium/87 is for fuel
    Gears are Stock/4.88's/5.29
    Tire size Stock/32 inch/33 inch/35 inch
THX is for Enhanced (More aggressive) throttle Management

Interpreting your key and looking at that screenshot @zooyorkajd posted is the one labeled 04B03_Premium_Stock_35_5.29.vft apply to both stock and 5.29 gears?

No, I think "stock" is used to apply to either gearing, tire size, or thx.
So the example you listed would be 35" tires, 5.29 gearing, and stock (stock for OV) throttle response.

Hard to know when the word stock can be applied to almost every field. Thanks!

Just me playing around with my tunes, that is what I came up with. Maybe more knowledgeable members can weight-in on that question! :D

My 04B81 tune pack only states "stock" for tire size.

I believe it is a file naming error. This was posted in the Dev thread a while back:

Note that you can check gearing and tire size (radius) in vF.

Only 2.0 Base Full at the moment. 2.0 Final with Perf, Tow, GL, and Tune Switch is coming.

What’s the reg_stock_Thx.vft? And if I want a basic tune for 87 which one do I go with?

@OVTune I am having issues getting my 2.0 tune. Since the download manager won't download the 2.0 performance tune for my manual ECU. I sent a ticket on Nov 11th. Nov 13th, they asked for my order number and I provided it. I never received a response afterwards. I replied again to the email again on Nov 23rd and still didn't get a response. Support Request for (21210)

Regular octane ignition starting point (all 2.0 tunes are Octane Learning), Stock tires and gearing, and with the Enhanced Throttle.

@OVTune In one of you blog posts a while back you showed off a feature when you were doing early tuning with the 2.0 and EROM stuff. It was the live table tracking feature that highlighted which cells were being used by the ECU. Is this something we'll be getting on our hands one day with VFTuner?

Today i hit 99% in 5th on the steepest part and it did not downshift..

    This tune sucks gas though.
I think airload changes need some revision

This is going to be a real n00b question, but here it goes. Can you correct your speedometer/odometer with vf tuner if you're running larger tires like 33s?

Thanks for the update. Report back, please, if you manage to claw some mpgs back while maintaining the drivability characteristics. I have also experienced running high load / low rpm to suck gas. I assume this is why toyota tuned it to downshift all the time, but would be nice if that operating range can be made more efficient.

That is a really nice data display you’ve created. Lots of very important information, and I like how you centered and enlarged the current gear indicator.
