It’s a forever waiting game. I have some good I’ll be waiting another 1-2 months for out of this. Also need to order new leafs and will need to go custom but waiting until I get the X1. Rather not guess and find out they are too stiff

Archive Garage Parts and possibly Deaver springs but so far holding off on that until I get a better sense of my new weight. Debating swapping some parts to drop weight. Would be great if I could drop 5-600lbs of regular weight. the X1 is not too much heaver but i know other stuff will come such as drawers, slides, maybe heater etc. Depends on how fancy I want to get but knowing its going to make it heavier I am less excited about that.

yah its savage. if you did not get any that are custom and more off the shelf the wait likely will be shorter but still a long way. My rears I had custom ordered and that took almost 14 weeks. I cant imagine how long it would be if I ordered now. if they are standard setups you may luck out. for a good chunk of Covid they were shut down completely so that backed up everything 1-2 months out of the gate when they re-opened not realizing it's an essential role for our off-road needs. ha

That GX going to be slick. We just got another car so putting my plans on hold for a bit but I was looking for an 08/09 GX myself.

were either of them custom ordered? Your fronts were a standard config, right? That def helps. Sometimes you get lucky and some bigger dealers like wheelers may even have them in stock. My buddy got lucky earlier this year and got them in 4 days since wheelers had them on hand.

Interesting to see that some of the recent entries on the form I setup that ordered in November now have estimated pick-up dates that are 6 months out. instead of the 6-8 weeks, they were hoping for. Hopefully, once all the kinks get worked out it picks up.

Yeah it's crazy how backed up they got. My cousin ordered a couple months ago and his took about 3 months. His was a custom order. Mine is going to be considered a custom order for the fronts since I requested 650lb coils instead of the standard 600lb coils since I plan to have skids and front bumper in the future.

Thanks man can't wait to finally lift the GX. Makes me wish I ordered sooner. I almost jumped on the Ironman and Dobinson's sale recently but decide to wait in case I might be disappointed with them lol!

Yeah you definitely did order at a good time.

def I do not think anyone is running to cancel or knock. Just the nature of the waiting game. We get to bitch and nag until we get it in hand. All my earlier conversations with the Superpacific guys have been solid. Really looking forward to it when most of it gets settled and they are pumping out setups.

I'm in the same waiting game. I ordered new 12” king shocks from acutune. I am debating going with deaver stage 2 or 3. They actually called me last night to check on weight ill be running and how they plan to valve the shocks once they get them. He recommended i go stage 2 on the leafs. He mentioned deaver is also backordered but they have some on hand.

Can I pick all your brains for a minute? First, please don't harp on me or chastise me or make me feel bad for asking, please. I'm aware that I know next to nothing and that's why I'm here- to figure it all out.

I've been wanting a Taco for a long time but I have had some life circumstances come up that made it not possible to get one and to remain in the vehicle I already own. It's now starting to change and I'm a few months away from being able to get out of my current vehicle, so my first desire would be to get into a new Tacoma. I plan on using this for the rest of my life, so, yes, in my dream world, I get a 2021 TRD Pro because I like it and I don't want to do much work myself. However, I had no idea how hard it would be to actually get a TRD Pro. As in, the local dealer asks for $10,000 OVER MSRP, and the dealer 2 hours away that doesn't do that means that you have to put your name on a waiting list and order it from the factory and wait what may be 6 months to get one. So that's where I am. I want a Tacoma and am not sure if I can even get one without paying way over MSRP, which I think is silly and I don't really want to do.

At this point, I'm not real sure where to go. I put a deposit down on the Super Pacific a few months back, thinking I'd for sure have been able to get a truck in the months that followed, but that has not happened. I'm almost thinking maybe I should go look at a Gladiator or something, although I have a feeling that won't ultimately work out, since, as previously mentioned, I'd like this to be the last car that I buy and if I wind up NOT getting what I actually want, chances are I'll wind up not being totally happy and wanting to switch again.

Any advice or help you guys could give would be appreciated, as I'm not super sure where my direction is going at this time, given the delays.

    Thanks :)

Look very seriously at the Off Roads. For 99% of owners you'll never noticed a difference between it and a Pro. Toyota also has some pretty insane leases at the moment. So maybe lease a lower model for a couple of years then revisit a Pro once this damned pandemic is gone and everything is back to normal(ish).
