Assman knows, but, no woman no cry.

Got rid of my boat anchor last year; she cheated and I reap the benefits. About to snag some King coilovers.

Years down the road, maybe. A year ago, I wouldn't even consider it. But, I can see doing it after it's a second or third vehicle.

And, I would probably cry at least twice once I find out how much it will cost!

I’m alway looking for parts or stuff in other cities. I almost bought 4 2015 steel wheels for $50. I had the work truck and it was filled... with work stuff!

I’ll be driving past Victory 4x4 in Michigan @2pm if someone in Wisconsin needs a pickup !!!

If she's not American born and raised, there will be interesting cultural differences, but still well worthwhile on many levels :)

My vote is to find a wife that loves off roading adventures and supports the built truck!

Dometic fridge and OVS 270 awning? Her idea.

Needed new tires, and shocks rebuilt because Performance Off-road in Sussex fucked mine up. Wife says get new tires and isn’t it only a little more for new rear shocks?

New tires, shock relocates and 12” king smoothies it is!

She had a blast wheeling in Moab, said black bear pass was easy, and loved the shit out of our 1223 mile with 259 miles of dirt 4 day road trip in the Southwest.

    Win win.

Agreed. My wife just had a Toytec BOSS lift put on her 4Runner and is already looking for bigger tires to fill the wheel wells along with upgraded armor. The problem now is which vehicle do we take?

There's good ones out there, just need to look in the right places.

My wife is understanding about what I do to the taco. Trying to convince her to trade her Rav4 in for a 4RUNNER. I would just end up lifting it. Then l'd want to drive it. But she's happy with the Rav4.

I'm actually considering trading in the Tacoma at this point. The wife's 4runner is probably more capable off road and definitely rides and drives better than my Tacoma. We both bought our trucks before we were married and I'm struggling now with the idea of having two trucks. They're both 2016s with close to 80k miles so eventually they're going to start costing us more than basic maintenance and upgrades. Part of me wants a comfy car to drive that gets great gas mileage for trips where speed and economy are better than utility and offroad ability.

I mean, basic maintenance will get you a loooong way. 80k is nothing on the od.

Those new Camrys are nice! I want to do the same when the 4runner is paid off. Camry, Avalon, maybe an IS or GS.:)

I test drove an IS before buying the Tacoma, and it was freakin sweet. Then, I decided to replace the old 4runner instead.
