Apparently the Linka action figure was more advanced than the Wheeler action figure, with the ability to talk...

There was one episode, which I haven’t seen (yet) where Wheeler falls asleep on a boat in the Tunnel of Love and has a dream that he and Linka are married with eight kids (and she’s pregnant with their ninth ); This particular dream was really more of an alternate reality nightmare, but it is heavily implied throughout the series and that Linka and Wheeler get married (and apparently get busy).

The only toy I remember having was Wheeler, and of course I immediately took him out of the packaging; Can’t help but wonder how much all of these are worth?!?!

Linka seems to be the only Planeteer action figure who had the ability to speak; Here we have Gi, one of only two female Planeteers (the other obviously being Linka). Gi was stated to be from Asia, but no specific country was given (I always thought she was Japanese)...

Can’t help but wonder if these action figures are worth $40-$50 apiece; If that’s the case, the boy did I make a mistake taking my Wheeler out of his package!

Gi’s home country is the only one not explicitly stated, but I still think it’s Japan...

There was an episode of Fairly Oddparents where one of Timmy Turner’s favorite cartoon shows is revealed to be an obvious parody of Captain Planet and the Planeteers, called Captain Green and the Eco-Teens...

Please help! So, my house is having that annoying problem with the Christmas lights again...

My house was built in 2016, but for some stupid reason of the GFI outlets are on the same circuit, along with the WiFi router and the main cable box; The treadmill is plugged into an outlet that is part of the GFI circuit. Last year, my dad unplugged the Christmas lights so he could use the treadmill. I happened to notice that the Christmas lights were off and simply assumed that I'd forgotten to plug them in; When I plugged the lights back in, it almost immediately tripped the breaker. My dad is a serious runner (prior to COVID he was regularly running 5Ks and half-marathons, and one in 2016 or 2017 he ran a full marathon), and he had the treadmill going at some ridiculous speed; When the power was cut, the treadmill came to an abrupt stop and my dad almost went flying. After the initial string of profanities, I explained to my dad the misunderstanding, and we agreed that he should tell me when he was going on the treadmill so it didn't happen again...

This year, I decided to put lights on the back deck railing; These, combined with the new LED spotlight/camera my parents had installed outside the screened-in porch last month, at least two of three cable boxes running at full power at any given time, and the internet router being in near-constant use, seems to have really overtaxed the GFI circuit. Needless to say, I am no longer running the lights I put up out back. We always shut off the Christmas lights before using the treadmill, and I have determined that my new "holiday shapes" slide projector was creating enough of a draw that it would regularly overload the system and I took that down for the time being.

Also, whenever we get serious rain (which has happened twice in the last week or so), something seems to short out; This utterly confounds me because the outlet by the front door is obviously outdoor rated. All of my light sets, extension cords, and the two multi-plug timers are also outdoor rated. What gives?

Can anyone help me out here so me and my neighbors can actually enjoy my light display this year? By the way, my neighbor across the street has three LED reindeer, one of which has an animatronic moving head, that he keeps on 24/7 (even during the day, which I think is rather pointless); His house is a slightly larger floorplan than ours and has a finished basement (ours does not), so he obviously has more lights and electronics, but he is obviously not having any electrical issues. In an unrelated note (possibly related), his built-in convection microwave literally blew up less than a year ago and he had to replace it out of his own pocket because the warranty was expired.

Anybody have any suggestions to fix this issue or at least alleviate the stress on my house's electric system?

Led lights shouldnt draw much amps. Some times it can be a bad gfci. Check grounds on the light. Gfci should only be outside , near sinks/ water..or in garage from what ive seen. They can go bad so dont rule that out.

Are they popping the breaker in the main box or are they popping at the GFCI plug themselves? I would suggest the following, based on your description-

    1. too many plugs on the circuit. It would help if you knew what outlets were on what circuit so that you can better balance between the breakers. The router shouldnt pull much, but the treadmill will. Home entertainment like TV, stereo, Xbox, will also add up. Lights might or might not draw a lot depending on if they are LED, incandecant, what size, how many, etc etc. It might be worth moving one or more of those to different parts of the house.

    2. There is a short somewhere on your outdoor lights. They might be outdoor rated but that doesn't mean they are waterproof. Make sure all plugs/connections are off the ground and protected from the rain. Take each one apart and look for dirt between the prongs (I nearly caused a fire one year from a simple dirty extension cord). Clean them, Stake any connection so that no plug touches the ground, and if you can't shelter the plug at least give it a few hefty wraps with electrical tape so that rainwater can't get into those plugs.

Not all of the light sets are LED, but most sets have been purchased since my parents bought the house in 2016, so the majority are four years old or less. At least one of the "net" sets was purchased when we still lived in the townhouse (last Christmas in that house was 2015), and a few of the sets are definitely older than 2015; I am 99% sure that all of the light sets in my current "arsenal" were purchased after I got my driver's license in May 2011, so that would mean that even my oldest light sets are less than ten years old as of this post.

A few of the strands have roughly half of the lights out, but I still use these and hide the nonfunctional half by stringing fully functional strands over the nonfunctional portions of those other strands; For starters, this will be the last year I use the partially functional sets, and I will just cannibalize them for spare bulbs before throwing them out. The plug can be sheltered; It has a flipdown plastic cover resembling what you'd find holding the head unit on a boat.

    rewire the house.

    put in a bigger circuit.

run an extension cord to a different plug.

i feel your pain. my circuits make zero sense. if i ever build a house, it's going to be one room, one circuit.

I found some GFCI outlets wired wrong in my house and resolved all of the tripping issues we were having by verifying that LINE and LOAD were all correctly connected to them. The guy that installed them had them backwards.

Easy to check and worth a look.

    Hmmm......I'd call an electrician.

Have you counted the number of duplex receptacles on those circuits? If I recall correctly, the maximum (per code) is 13 on a 15A circuit. Outdoor and GFCI can be finicky depending on how its set up and on installation.

Is the GFCI in the Breaker Panel or an outlet type? If outlet type, there is a limit to the number of outlets downstream of the GFCI.

Outdoor circuits should be in weather tight conduit and boxes.

The GFCI is 15 amps; The rest of what you've said is gibberish to me...

The house was built in 2016 and shouldn't need rewiring, plus it's my parents' house (only a few more years until I have enough for a down payment on my own place, which I plan on wiring to my liking!).
Like I said, it's my parents' house; They think it is an issue with the lights rather than the house, and they pay the mortgage, so even though I tell them they should look into it there's not much else I can do...
Tried one in the garage and also tripped the breaker; Not much else I can do unless I run an extension cord through the front door, which I really don't want to do because the door won't close properly...

It says Home Improvement Today but you are in the right area.
On a 15 Amp circuit you should be able to pull 1800 Watts Maximum:
    120 x 15 = 1800
