There are a few small nits..............these really are..........I need to be careful here - these tools are not top of the line Milwaukee. They are and really feel like made in China and have a China (toy) feel and smell when first powered up. Don't get me wrong, I like the tools and I bought them for size and value. I always wanted the small sawzall (sweet) plus they supply 4 blades (I think all my DeWalt blades will fit, need to check) . The little flashlight is junk magnet won't even hold the mass of the flashlight, cheap feels. The driver is a bit sad as it just accepts 1/4" hex shanks - OK nothing super wrong with that, probably better than just 3/8" square drive. I have a couple socket drives, good excuse to buy more. (ahahha!). It is interesting the cordless ratchet tool is a normal 3/8" square configuration and they even supply a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter. The drill is great (small) two batteries perfect and charger (my second) is great. OH yeah the bag is nice and spacious, can just add my M12 right angle grinder.............and have a sweet compact 12V kit.

Can anyone recommend a wall/ceiling mounted electrical heater for a 20'x20' garage?

I found this, but apparently, they last one winter and then die. Cheap enough to replace as needed, but yearly? Hoping someone has a recommendation for something a little more stout.

I used the non Fuel M12 1/4” hex impact driver for 2 years at work every day, loved it so much when I started with my new company I bought myself the M12 Fuel version. It’s been amazing.

The only non Fuel Milwaukee I own is the M18 oscillating tool because it didn’t exist in a Fuel version until recently. It’s not used much, but it’s fantastic also.

The non Fuel ratchets seem to be pretty fragile, but I don’t have one, just watched/read a lot of reviews over the years. One day I’ll buy a Fuel M12 ratchet.

Anyway, some of the standard line Milwaukee isn’t exorbitantly mind blowing in the hand, but they do pretty damn well. It’s a great way to get into the platform and is plenty for most people, especially the seldom user or DIYer. My 1/4” hex driver was fantastic, so good I bought one when I turned my original in and treated myself to an upgraded version.

    They’re pretty legit.

Anyone got a recommendation for a toolbox light for the top of my husky 52”? Looking to add a light when I open the top. I know of the 3m take light style, just seeing if anyone else has a recommendation.

Well the XC 8.0 showed up today. The price seem too good to be true but I figured it was worth the risk and it looks like it paid off. Looks like legitimate Milwaukee packaging to me.

After opening it up it is definitely legitimate. Also for anyone wondering, it is perfectly flush with the bottom of the Milwaukee fan so that's good to know because the big 12 0 is too big for the fan.

I love my m12 rotary. It’s probably one of my favorite m12 tools. I have the snap on butane soldering iron, how do you like the m12 iron? I never considered the m12 iron.

That's easy. Your pry bars (and some sockets) are in the wrong place.

This is the only drawer long enough for the longest pry bar. And those sockets aren't taking up much room lol

I was kind of kidding about the sockets.

Trust me, I am not org expert. My tools are kinda messy right now, getting ready to move and supporting two houses (got out of the landlord phase a couple years ago)

Anyway my larger pry bars are standing in a narrow tool holder with various crow bars and such. I suggest hanging them to free up space in the cordless drawer. Just an idea.

I find that if I take the attachments off of my tools, I’m able to fit a lot more in a drawer.
    image.jpg
I use a tray from harbor freight to keep small attachments in.
