I had an interesting realization today...

I was getting gas today and a lifted, silver DCSB pulled in at the same time. He had some black rims (no idea what) and the lift, and I have no idea what else. What hit me was that in person, I just did NOT like the way a lifted Tacoma looked, at all. I guess I just don't see many lifted Tacomas in my area, because this was the first I remember. Does anyone else share this feeling, or am I alone? I was very surprised that I was so turned off by it in person.

Now, I'm not hating on all of you lifted people. It's your truck, do what you want, and many of you are lifted for functional reasons. I like the way some of them look in photos, but in person it's just not for me. It ended all desires I have to lift my Tacoma. Just curious if anyone else thinks the same way!

 

i think they look fine lifted. unless its overkill.

for me <3" of lift and 17" is the MAX rim size.

 

Anything over a 3" is meh to me.

I like the looks of the lifted Tacomas as long as it's done well and all the components compliment each other and isn't overdone. Personally, I'll never lift mine because I have no reason to do so.
