    Do you have a picture of this power tower?

    And bushes aren't going to protect anything from water.

    Ok....we seem to be narrowing the problem.

    First steps to take outside is to protect those power towers from water. Consider them to be in the wide open driveway with no protection.

    I'd suggest for you to fashion some type of housing to protect the power towers. Anything can work. Milk jug, coffee can, ice chest, ziploc with duct tape. Get the towers encased in a water resistant housing. Think about how to protect from a direct stream of water from a garden hose nozzle.

    <edit> A 5 gallon bucket from HomeDepot, Lowes, Menards with a lid would make a good housing. Just drill a couple holes to pass cords, snap the lid on.......<endedit>

    When you get home, record the current ratings of all the devices in the list. Then add up all the numbers. Over 15 A? If yes, then begin unplugging the big current load devices. Place them on a different circuit, not just a different outlet.

    These steps will likely solve your trouble.

    As a follow up. I would urge your Father to hire a certified, licensed, bonded electrician to rewire that basement and these circuits. Whoever did the work was a hack. As a side note: sometimes a family friend is not a good choice. That treadmill needs its own dedicated circuit. Lights should be on separate circuits. The outside outlets should be on their own circuit or as GFCI outlets without dependent outlets downstream.

    As it is set up. The main electric panel feeds a GFCI, then the GFCI feeds a number of outlets downstream, including the outside outlets. So, if water enters an electric connection outside causing the GFCI to trip, then the basement dies. Or if you'd rather......Dad is running at full tilt on the treadmill, GFCI trips, Dad tumbles off treadmill, gets injured, call ambulance.........

    Right now, the only issue with my truck is the left license plate lamp; I initially thought it was burned out, but on a whim decided to kick it and it came back on. Sometimes it stays on, but most of the time I have to kick it just so to make it turn on; I unscrewed the assembly from the back bumper the other day and took a look, but found nothing amiss (and the light stayed on), so I screwed it back into place and have been giving it percussive maintenance on an as-needed basis. I'm wondering if it's somehow related to having the trailer hitch installed back in October...?

    Porsche 911 GT3! :drool::drool::drool:

    Met this couple in the Kohl’s parking lot while cruising around with the truck lit up on Black Friday (don’t worry, I got his permission to take a picture of the car); I know you love Porsches, and the couple kinda reminded me of you and your wife...

    You would think if you were wealthy enough to own an exotic car you would also have something else for picking up building supplies.

    Didn't hurt the car, but I feel like a 1980 Rolls-Royce Camargue would be a bit more up to the task than a Porsche 911...

    Well maybe he normally probably pays people with pickup trucks and vans to do that shit for him, but this was maybe a spur-of-the-moment type of thing?

    Didn't you have a situation in Italy that resulted in a $20,000 brake job for a relative's Ferrari?

    Maybe that 911 was a rental car, lol. Well that Mustang is a Hatchback and you can fit quite a bit of stuff back there. When l was moving from my apartment to my house l did everything in my old Geo Tracker and the Mustang.
