    So you think she actually deserved the “award”?
    This isn’t a “oh my god a woman in football!” Post. This is the fact that she was obviously given something she didn’t do anything to deserve. She saw the field for one play - a squib kick. You want equality? You don’t get it by giving something to her just because she has a vagina. But I’m sure you’re super woke and think she totally deserved that for her incredible on-field play.

    To any of us? Probably not. To the players that actually play and only get to perform on special teams? Probably. Ben Cleveland won SEC Lineman of the week. Didn’t mean much to me, but he reposted about 15 of his friends congratulating him on it, so apparently it meant something to him. Some of those guys only take special teams snaps. I’m sure they like being acknowledged for their performance on the field. She got it for 1 play in which she kicked the ball 20 yards.

    15 different things occurred for this perfect situation where they needed to pluck someone off another athletic team to kick which obviously makes sense the women’s soccer team. I’m just confused as to why the scholarship/starting punter couldn’t handle the kicking duties...

    I will give credit where it's due though. There is video of her warming up before the game and she did kick a couple field goals from the 5, 10 and 12 yard line. She might be fine kicking extra points but Vandy rarely gets that opportunity.

    Rumor has it, 5 or 6 players - including some starters - have left the Vanderbilt football team. Supposedly the starting kicker is healthy enough to play and they’re still talking about letting Fuller kick and that has caused issues, along with her “calling out the team” for not cheering enough on the sidelines when they got a first down...:notsure:
