255/75/17 Goodyear Duratrac's, stock suspension

Thinking about pulling the trigger on them. With all the research I have done, it seems they would fit. I would be getting a -6 offset rim, and going with the SL load, so they only weigh 43lbs, not too much of a jump in weight. Does anyone have any experience with this size with no lift? Can you post up some pics if so?

 

I am running the TRD Fox Pro suspension with no lift on OEM OR wheels with 1.25” Spidertrax wheel spacers, which leaves me at about -6 offset on 265/75R 16s. No rubbing throughout the range, but I couldn’t go much bigger without issues. If you're planning on doing any off road driving you may want to reconsider getting Standard Load tires as they are very prone to puncture, and not well suited to airing down. I don't know about your area, but here in Texas, if you want to go out on unmaintained roads in Big Bend State Park they require a minimum of C Load tires in order to get a permit, just something to consider.

 

The more negative offset you have the harder it is to fit tires. People fit 255/85r16 on stock OR wheels and suspension. The second you push those wheels out you lose a lot of clearance

Duratracs really look odd in standard load, and if you're going up a size for looks, it won't help, they bulge a lot without the reinforced sidewalls.

I've owned LT265/75R16 duratracs and I wouldn't consider anything but the LT version.
