Just picked up my dream truck and first taco. I should be content but all I can do is think about tricking this thing out.
I recently bought a rack before I joined the forum, and after a little research, I’m going to return the dv8 for the prismu.
The question is if you could tier your mods with your experience now, what you would do first? I’m open to most anything, but def want the rack and a bull bar, also Classico seats. I also live on an island so beach mods welcome.
    Thanks!

Welcome. Roof rack is good, skip the Bull Bar. Maybe add some on board air for going on and off the beach. And it's Clazzio Seat Covers my friend. Enjoy the fuck out of it.

I would just get the necessities now (like maybe a bed mat, seat covers, floor mats) and drive it for a few months to get a better idea of what your needs are. It will save you from spending money unnecessarily and also having to buy twice (aka, your roof rack). Enjoy your new truck!

Bed mat so stuff doesn't fly around in the back, a tonneau cover if you want to lock stuff in the back as well. The rest are just extra, like others said, drive it around a few months and see what you need. It's a money pit if you're not careful, I just bought a 2021 myself and I'm in the same boat.

Prinsu would be my first again. Whatever you do wait and get what you want and don't settle for something. You'll end up getting what you want and selling at a loss.

I’d only add things as you need them. That way you will appreciate what you add and not get unnecessary things.

The stock front and rear bumpers kept getting scratches and dragged off road so I added full CBI bumpers (high clear rear and full front) & sliders
Lighting was bad at night so added LED light bar.
Tires slipped bad in mud and sidewalls got torn up so I added E load mud tires.
Truck bottomed out very badly in the desert so added 2.5 Icon remote resi all around
Ran out of space in the bed and cab moving crap so next mod is roof rack
The rear tire spins and I don’t move forward so next is rear locker.

So get out there and find out what you need !

    same shit as everyone else
First mod? Remove the front air dam. It takes less than 5 minutes. It really only helps a bit on the highway and if you're on an island, I doubt It will benefit you unless you do long drives on the mainland. As far as mods involving money? Probably what others have said. Simple practical stuff first. I really like my Husky floor mats.

    Anyways, welcome to TW.

my first move would be painting the grille black. Chrome doesn’t match at all with the rest of the truck being blacked out.
