Friggin' hot this year. I was only able to hunt deer during archery in Colorado (September) - damn miserable beating feet in 90 degrees.

I didn’t see a single Buck all season in Washington. Worst year I can remember in the last 15 years or so of hunting. This state is going to hell. Awesome views though. 0EEC2473-43B1-4D40-97D0-AB2691197266.jpg

Anyone have recommendations for some pic style rings? I’m adding a 20 moa pic rail to my Sako 75 to get some more distance out of it and need new rings. I’ve got a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14 with the 1” tube

Bored! Snowing all day so far (4-5" so far) naturally, after it rained all day yesterday!!!

Mocked this up, but need to figure a nicer way of doing it...no cut pages/taping together.....

PS: NOT really a hunting club, just the in-laws 11+ acres!!!! Thought they would get a kick out of that.PXL_20201201_203344185.jpg

PSS: one of Cole's best friends got a small buck today, not sure if it was his first one too or not.

It WAS his first buck too!!! Half rack 6 point - 3 points on left side only!!! One day apart they each scored on their first buck - one in a steady rain and one in a snowstorm.

No matter how many years you hunt and no matter how big of dear you kill. You will never kill a bigger trophy or have better memories than of your first. CONGRADS

Thanks! I don't care if I ever shoot another one now. Hope he keeps it up.

Next stop is spring gobbler and fly fishing for trout.
