does that fin get all erect up and down action
it stands tall when powered on but the icy buildup at times on the fender opening is sucky sometimes it becomes a stubby lol

 

It works no matter the weather. Even car wash approved.

 

The best part is when driving through the forest, it isnt flinging all over the place

 

not much for forests in NE out in the hills
but it does retract and i then listen to the CDs, with a newer & modern deck and i could put a FLAC stick init

hand wash only!

 

I'm slacking on getting a smaller antenna. Hasn't been terribly important since all I use is spotify.

 

I swapped mine for a shorter one not long after getting the truck despite not really using the radio either. Got tired of thwacking it on the garage door frame.

 

Bet that was annoying.

When I took the Prerunner on a trip through Mark Twain, I had that thing going all over the place until it fell off on its own. Hit a branch every once in awhile since moving here.

 

Had the same issue with the tundra. Now it has a stubby

 

Grabbed a set of blue traction boards for $40 at a local outlet store. I'll beat on em for that price.

 

My radio antenna is in my truck box.

Wonder if I could reuse the location of the stock radio antenna for the CB.... Hmmmm

 

Would it whipping around be an issue though?
