it stands tall when powered on but the icy buildup at times on the fender opening is sucky sometimes it becomes a stubby lol

It works no matter the weather. Even car wash approved.

I'm slacking on getting a smaller antenna. Hasn't been terribly important since all I use is spotify.

I swapped mine for a shorter one not long after getting the truck despite not really using the radio either. Got tired of thwacking it on the garage door frame.

    Bet that was annoying.

When I took the Prerunner on a trip through Mark Twain, I had that thing going all over the place until it fell off on its own. Hit a branch every once in awhile since moving here.

Grabbed a set of blue traction boards for $40 at a local outlet store. I'll beat on em for that price.

My radio antenna is in my truck box. :anonymous:

Wonder if I could reuse the location of the stock radio antenna for the CB.... Hmmmm

8' whip antenna arched over the cab and tied to the bed rail?

    Like this but backwards:

Not saying it's a good idea, but it's an idea nonetheless

I like this statement, not so much the antenna part......but the fact that a lot of my ideas aren't good.
    And I have a bunch....

Not sure that's a title I'd particularly want. It may give people ideas, per se...

Right, like if the army is doing it, it's probably not a good idea
