pfff. Speak for yourself. I was born tough. I was so tough that I hacked Mom's AOL login and password and gave myself an account before I even had permission to see the internet. It took nearly 3 days before I found the post-it note in the pencil drawer. I would tell you how tough I am, but I have to go to another forum and start an argument with a Navy Seal about why his weightlifting routine is all wrong.

Not to throw gas on the fire but OP is leasing his truck. My truck I bought has the same issue it has been almost 3 weeks and still do t have my truck back yet. Nothing like seeing a truck with 250 miles on it and the trans and engine removed.

You seem to be handling the situation well.

What did the dealership put you in for a loaner? Did they offer you a free extended warranty post-repair?

 

No way to get a pro only options you have is to try for lemon law. I already have been offered the platinum extended warranty. Toyota is doing what they are required to do and fix it but to me the truck is not new or the same anymore. We will see what Toyota decides in the weeks to come.

 

So is the 3.5L a garbage motor or not?
