Thank you sir! I’m happy with it. Wood is therapeutic to work with!

How do you like the side steps? They're aluminum right? I need to get something and had Nfab hoops prior but they got pretty rusty after a few winters. I broke off one bolt on each side when I took them off so I'm not sure how I'll deal with that if I ever want to put new ones on.

Got her weighed today. She’s a chunky butt. This is DD weight. Tools, recovery, etc that always live in the truck.

I have been in contact with Accutune about a shock revalve and rebuild. Their response to the weight “Wow! Definitely heavier than I expected...”

Did the serpentine belt tensioner, not just the pulley the whole arm buried under the alternator and AC compressor, everyone said it's kind of a pain and it really is not difficult but access is terrible, one bolt took me like an hour to find the magic combination of things pulled aside, socket, extension, wobble, wrachet and angle to get it out. They felt overtightened from whomever last maintained them.

Added a length of hose onto the automatic trans cooler nipples since I don't have an automatic trans, this will keep the system closed if the trans cooler ever broke I probably wouldn't even know.

    PXL_20201202_212226394.jpg

While I had the Accessories pulled aside I changed out my oil control screens for the VVT-i mainly because I got a code a few days ago for bank 1 cam over retarded was hoping it was just a junked up screen but these baskets looked too good to replace really, but when in Rome...

    PXL_20201202_164056454.jpg

I'm really hoping it's not timing chain stretch or timing chain tensioner... :fingerscrossed:

Checked out my belt idlers and they going to be in the not too distance future.

I made the mistake of getting smoked tail lights. The light visibility of the tails and breaks are no problem at all still very bright. The reverse however.... I keep trying new lights and got these of Amazon for $13 and they are BRIGHT. Left is the new light and right is the old 6 LED Philips

Did a quick interior detail. Wasn't terribly dirty but had some dog hair floating around from the last time the pup rode with me. Also detailed the interior of the wifes ride, small Lexus NX300h.

    This and that...
Got addicted to a couple years back. It's definitely great therapy too on many levels. I was fortunate to find a place where they discard hard wood pallets and finally got to make a kitchen table. Just out sourced the cast iron legs from Etsy. Searching materials on Craigs list has been a new routine with my coffee in the morning now. Looking forward to working with some live edge I recently picked up for my camper.

Me too! Much prefer the satin black finish. Still need to label the knob detents though. Haven't figured out what to do that with...
